The Design of Everyday Things
Author: Don Norman

This bestseller is considered a bible on the cognitive aspects of design. The book has fantastic examples of good and bad design, plus simple rules for designers to offer the best product design services. It looks at current products we use daily like cars and telephones and helps you rework your way of thinking for improving these everyday things.


Well-Designed: How to Use Empathy to Create Products People Love
Author: Jon Kolko

This book was created to help people leverage customer and user empathy to enhance their product design. It breaks down mood boards, and how they fit into the larger picture of product design, helping designers create things that users love and want.

Author: Susan Weinschenk

This book has become a go-to for people offering product design services and beyond. It’s filled with practical advice on how to use findings in psychology and neuroscience to inform and improve our designs and products.

Author: Scott D. Anthony

Innovation is obviously at the forefront of product design services and in this book, long-time innovation expert, Scott Anthony, shares stories on his research and past experience with major companies in the field of innovation.
