Cobie Smulders Partners with MAKO for Dreamvention 2019

Celebrity Cobie Smulders Partners with MAKO for Dreamvention

January 31, 2019

Everyone at one point in their life was a child with a dream to create. That is why MAKO was so thrilled to be invited by Frito-Lay to work with these young inventors on the Dreamvention competition.

Families are given the chance to work together using their imaginations to solve a problem in everyday life for a chance to win $250,000. MAKO’s top invention services were put to good use in developing the 5 finalists’ ideas in the inaugural 2018 year, and we look forward to doing it again in 2019!

Celebrity, Cobie Smulders Gives MAKO a Huge Shout Out on NBC!

In a recent interview, Cobie Smulders was featured on NBC New York to talk about her involvement with the Dreamvention program. Smulders speaks with exuberance over her experience in meeting the kid-ventors a few months back.

She also mentions MAKO in the talk show interview and our relationship to the program, complimenting MAKO for being “an amazing company” that brought the five finalists’ ideas to life with our top invention services. Smulders encourages viewers to go to the Dreamvention website and vote for their favourite finalists’ new inventions.

Top Invention Services Put to Good Use As MAKO Teams Up with Cobie Smulders on Dreamvention

MAKO’s top invention services weren’t the only ones asked to be involved in this great contest. The Avengers star Cobie Smulders has also joined the Dreamvention team. Cobie Smulders, now a mother of two, joined in encouraging families to brainstorm new invention ideas together.

She values the importance of spending quality time together as a family and understands that competition is a good way to promote family bonding.

Dreamvention Program Promotes the Importance of Family

Once an imaginative child herself, Smulders appreciates the passion and creativity that surrounds this contest. As an aspiring marine biologist in her youth, Cobie Smulders takes kindly to scientific endeavours like the ones being implemented in the submissions we have seen within Dreamvention.

She admires the Dreamvention program because it gives families a podium to display their creative abilities and hard work. To motivate the families further, Smulders and four STEM-focused museums partnered together to give them free admission to spark their creativity for their ideas. Little did they know our top invention services would be used to bring their ideas to life.
