Lyft and GM Collaborate For Self-Driven Cars

Design Engineering Plan for Autonomous Cars:

The city of Austin will soon be home to self-driving cars from GM and Lyft. GM invested $500 million to collaborate and form a partnership with Lyft, a transportation network company. The particular design engineering of these cars will make them more than just self-driven. Both companies want to design an innovative car and a promising service that is digitally personalized for individuals before they even enter the car. Lyft will allow you to create a profile for the cars to determine an individual’s personal preferences, to ensure that the perfect car is delivered to them. The remarkable design engineering behind these new cars will allow them to drive a maximum speed of 30 mph and only within downtown Austin. These location boundaries, are meant to ensure early bird testers of the service will be safe and their specific needs will be catered. All the user has to do is direct the car with the specifics of their desired destination.
