Western’s Entrepreneur Connector Event and Showcase

On Tuesday, May 15th, product design firm MAKO Design + Invent will be attending the Western Entrepreneur Connector Event and Showcase which will connect entrepreneurs in Toronto with Kevin Mako, founder of MAKO and other industry leaders.  

Product design firm, MAKO, has always been committed to helping startups and entrepreneurs, and Kevin Mako is excited to discuss the keys to success for startups. Up and coming businesses from Propel, Western’s startup accelerator will be present, as well as other industry leaders and entrepreneurs. 

About Kevin

Kevin Mako attended the Richard Ivey School of Business and incorporated product design firm, MAKO at just 22 years old. After graduating as class president with a specialization in entrepreneurship, Kevin continued his education at the University of Hong Kong, studying manufacturing and supply chain management.

As a strong believer in developing an entrepreneurial spirit, MAKO has partnered with Ryerson’s DMZ, supports Western’s Propel, and is committed to youth innovation through the MAKO Student Innovation Award. Kevin also personally finances and invests in small businesses and startups and is excited to be joining Western students for this showcase.
