EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year Awards recognizes some of the most innovative and influential leaders in the world. For the past 25 years, these awards have recognized the achievements of Canada’s entrepreneurial trailblazers. Kevin Mako, CEO of invention design business, MAKO, is thrilled to be nominated for the EY Ontario Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2018.

About Kevin & MAKO, invention design business

Kevin Mako attended the Richard Ivey School of Business and incorporated his invention design business, MAKO, at just 22 years old. Kevin graduated as class president with a specialization in entrepreneurship before continuing his education overseas in Hong Kong to study manufacturing and supply chain management. MAKO is a full-service consumer product development firm servicing small product businesses and early-stage invention startups. The team at MAKO is 25 people spread across three offices (Austin, London and Toronto).
