A new wearable device has taken over, and it’s hard to not be in a room with at least one person wearing a smartwatch these days, or someone who is checking in to see if they’ve reached their 10,000 steps.
About Kharaband
The founder of Kharaband, Harp Gahunia used to own a Pebble Watch, a pioneer in the smartwatch space. Although the product was innovative, the battery life fell short and only lasted 24 hours, making it annoying to constantly have to charge the device. Once the Apple Watch hit the marketplace, he rejoined the movement of the wearable device thinking that this innovative tech pioneer had to give its users a watch that has a longer battery life than a day. However, the battery life appeared even worse on these devices. This was the “ah-ha” moment Harp needed to realize there was an opportunity for him to enter the marketplace with a solution.
A Profitable Device
Sales revenue from the wearable device is projected to grow from $16 billion US dollars in 2016 to $73 billion by 2022. Even though this category is on a steady rise, there’s still room for improvement in the sector and MAKO clients Kharaband saw an opportunity to improve what was in the marketplace already.

Created to work with the Apple Watch, but The Kharaband technology works on other brands as well. Ideas of the band were created making high-performance materials and active lifestyles. Serving as an extra power source and helping to make your wearable devices last for up to four times longer on a single charge.
