What is #MeetMako?
Last week we introduced our mechanical designer Hossein. This week let’s look into our office at meet our office coordinator at Mako Design and Invent, Helen!
As a Product Design Firm, here at Mako Design and Invent we interact with our clients on very close basis in order to be very transparent about the design process and the development of an inventor’s product. We are a team of positive, friendly and happy people who are excited and passionate about design, growth and learning about new ideas and concepts every day! With three current open offices, each of the members in each office all carry a unique and special persona that adds to the amazing quality of what makes Mako Design and Invent so great. We started the #MeetMako campaign to allow clients and future clients who are interested in working with us to learn more about who we are and who you’ll be working with! This campaign also serves as a great resource to learn about who will be helping you produce and develop your product and introduce to you a little more about who Mako Design and Invent is, what it’s like to work here and about the office culture!
Being the office coordinator at Mako is a busy job! Helens’ efforts and responsibilities in the office help to keep not only the whole office running smoothly but organized as well! Helen joined as the office coordinator at Mako Design and Invent with an English and criminology degree from the University of Toronto and a legal background. Helens role as the office coordinator at Mako Design and Invent deals with a lot of administrative tasks such as calendar management, coordination, shipping, and keeping track of office supplies. Along with keeping the office efficient, as the office coordinator at Mako Design and Invent, Helen is typically the first line of contact through almost all our clients! Anytime a client reaches out to us through email, live chat or phone you will be immediately redirected to Helen who will help you with any inquiries.
Some of Helens favorite things about working as the office coordinator at Mako Design and Invent, are getting to hear about and discover the different projects that designers are working on every week. Helen explains she really appreciates and finds it fun to be apart of a team that is so motivated and enthusiastic about design and invention. As Helen is the first point of contact with clients, she gets to hear about and listen to a lot of what clients mention to her as their invention ideas. Therefore, her best tip and recommendation for future designers and inventors is the free inventors kit that is available online on our main page! Helen explains that the kit includes a lot of great information that coves all the stages of the design process and can help answer all the questions that get asked when she answers calls or emails. The inventors kit is the best way for inventors and designers to get a better understanding for what they’re looking for when they contact Mako Design and Invent.
