What is #MeetMako?
Last week we introduced our mechanical designer, Hossein. This week, let’s look into our office and meet our office coordinator at MAKO Design + Invent, Helen!
As a Product Design Firm, here at MAKO Design + Invent, we interact with our clients on a very close basis in order to be very transparent about the design process and the development of an inventor’s product. We are a team of positive, friendly and happy people who are excited and passionate about design, growth and learning about new ideas and concepts every day!
With three current open offices, each of the members in each office carries a unique and special persona that adds to the amazing quality of what makes MAKO so great.
We started the #MeetMako campaign to allow clients and future clients who are interested in working with us to learn more about who we are and who you’ll be working with! This campaign also serves as a great resource for learning about who will be helping you produce and develop your product. It will introduce you to MAKO Design + Invent, what it’s like to work here, and the office culture!
Meet Helen!
Being the Office Coordinator at Mako is a rigorous job! Helen’s efforts and responsibilities in the office help keep not only the whole office running smoothly but organized as well! Helen joined as the office coordinator at MAKO Design + Invent with a degree in English and Criminology from the University of Toronto and a robust legal background.
Helen’s role as the Office Coordinator at MAKO Design + Invent deals with a lot of administrative tasks such as calendar management, coordination, shipping, and keeping track of office supplies. Along with keeping the office efficient, as the office coordinator, Helen is typically the first line of contact with almost all our clients! Anytime a client reaches out to us through email, live chat or phone, you will be immediately redirected to Helen, who will help you with any inquiries.
Some of Helen’s favourite things about working as the Office Coordinator at MAKO Design + Invent are hearing about and discovering the different projects that designers are working on every week. Helen explains that she really appreciates and finds it fun to be a part of a team that is so motivated and enthusiastic about design and invention.
As Helen is MAKO’s first point of contact, she has listened to a wide range of impassioned clients speak about their unique invention ideas. Therefore, her best tip and recommendation for future designers and inventors is the free inventor’s manual that is available online on our main page!
Helen explains that the kit includes a lot of great information that coves all the stages of the design process and can help answer all the questions that get asked when she answers calls or emails. The inventor’s manual is the best way for inventors and designers to get a better understanding of what they’re looking for when they contact us.
If you have a great new invention and you’d like to learn more about this process, get in touch with MAKO today, and we can set you up on a call with our product strategist!
