What is #MeetMako?

For this week’s #MeetMako let’s introduce Mako Design’s Product Strategist, Ryan! As a Product Design Firm, here at Mako Design and Invent we interact with our clients on very close basis in order to be very transparent about the design process and the development of an inventor’s product. We are a team of positive, friendly and happy people who are excited and passionate about design, growth and learning about new ideas and concepts every day! With three current open offices, each of the members in each office all carry a unique and special persona that adds to the amazing quality of what makes Mako Design and Invent so great. We started the #MeetMako campaign to allow clients and future clients who are interested in working with us to learn more about who we are and who you’ll be working with! This campaign also serves as a great resource to learn about who will be helping you produce and develop your product and introduce to you a little more about who Mako Design and Invent is, what it’s like to work here and about the office culture!

Meet Ryan!

Possibly the most involved role with communicating with clients is being Mako Design’s Product Strategist. Ryan explains that as the product strategist, his main roles are typically having to spend each day learning and understanding each client’s ideas and they proposed businesses/business plans. Ryan explains that his role as Mako Design’s Product Strategist revolves around coming up with strategic plans that help clients develop and grow their products in the best, most efficient and fastest way possible. Ryan’s favorite thing about being Mako Design’s Product Strategist is getting to hear about, learn and see new products everyday. Alongside seeing new product, he gets to hear about and discover new business goals daily. He loves getting to work and be exposed to different environments and having different conversations with clients everyday.

Working as Mako Design’s Product Strategist

As Ryan is the Mako Design’s Product Strategist, he is exposed to hearing about new product ideas every single day. With this in mind, Ryan has learned and gathered a lot of experience in knowing what makes a great product or design. When asked, Ryan explains that the most important design tip he can gives as Mako Design’s Product Strategist is to come in with a goal and keep things simple. Focus on your goals not only for building a product or design, but also goals on how to get your product to the market quickly and to implement these goals. What keeps Ryan motivated is that as Mako Design’s Product Strategist, everyday is an opportunity to learn about the industry, and the chance to see happy clients satisfied with our services. His favorite thing about working at Mako Design and Invent is being able to work with an extremely talented team who are passionate about what they do.
